Introduction

I created this healthy dessert to help me keep from going for the sugary, unhealthy alternatives. Not only that, but this microwaved dessert is super fast. While not the "real thing", I like it for it's healthy ingredients. I created this healthy dessert to help me keep from going for the sugary, unhealthy alternatives. Ingredients

    3/4 cup of blueberries (fresh or frozen)
    One packet of instant oatmeal (I use BetterOats, OatFit cinnamon roll with no sugar added)
    1 tbs light buttery spread
    Cinnamon to taste

Tips

Other brands of instant oatmeal can be used and other flavors (maple sugar for example).


Directions

Small microwavable bowl
Put blueberries into bowl
Melt one tablespoon of light spread
Mix packet of oatmeal with melted spread and sprinkle over blueberries.
Sprinkle with cinnamon
Microwave 2 - 3 minutes

Serving Size: Makes 1 1-cup serving
