Ingredients

    1/4 c. Blue Bonnet Light margarine (stick) softened
    1/4 c. butter softened
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. Splenda
    1 egg
    1 t. vanilla
    3/4 c. King Arthur White Whole Wheat flour
    1/2 c. flour
    1 t. baking soda
    8 oz. Sugar-Free Hershey's baking chips (1 1/3 c)
    1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Tips

makes a good cookie for the occasional treat for a diabetic with less than 3 grams of sugar per cookie.


Directions

blend butters and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and blend well. Mix together flours and soda and add to butter mixture. Mix well. Add chocolate chips and pecans. Stir to mix. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes in 350 degree oven. Cool on wire racks
