Ingredients

    6 c spinach, baby, pre-washed
    1/4 c chicken broth
    1 tsp garlic puree* (optional)

    Add 5 cals/0.3 g fat per portion to Nutrition Information if using garlic.

Directions

In a pot with lid large enough to hold spinach, place chicken broth and bring up to a low boil. Add spinach, and simmer until wilted, 2-3 minutes.

If using garlic place on top of raw spinach, leave it there while spinach wilts. After the spinach wilts, stir the garlic puree into the spinach.

6 cups of raw spinach makes about 1 cup (or less) of cooked spinach.
