Introduction

I used the end of a leg roast, which is why there was so little meat. I used the end of a leg roast, which is why there was so little meat.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    8 cups water
    3 cups dry barley
    1.5 medium onions
    2 stalks celery
    .25 cup carrots
    3 oz roasted goat meat

Directions

Lightly brown onion, celery and carrot in stockpot. Add water and bring to a boil. Add barley and meat. Cook for one hour. May need to add more water as the barley absorbs a lot of water as it cooks.
