Ingredients


    1 -15oz-can Garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
    1 large avocado
    1 clove garlic
    2 tbsp. cilantro
    2 tbsp. lemon juice
    2 tbsp. water
    1 tbsp. tahini (if you don't have tahini sub in EVOO)
    1/4 tsp. kosher salt
    1/4 tsp ground pepper

Directions

Combine everything in a food processor and blend until well incorporated. You should end up with a thick, creamy hummus.

If it’s too thick, add a little more water or extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy.

Serving Size: Make about 1 1/2 cups. Serving size is 2 Tablesoons

    Incredible!
    I HATE hummus. I had to start with that disclaimer to tell you how freaking delicious this was!!!! I used EVOO, and it was wonderful. Tasted kinda like guacamole. I even used it on some fajitas. Seriously this is probably the only hummus I will ever eat. I'm about to go whip up my second batch! YUM! - 2/13/14

    I'm on a roll this is the 3rd recipe I have food for hummus w/o the need for tahini which I never have but always have chickpes,avocados,and olive oil plus I love cilantro! Thank you - 8/30/13
