Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

1 can (15oz) Black Beans, rinsed
    3 large Eggs
    3 Tbsp Oil
    1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
    3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
    1 tsp Baking Powder (optional)
    1 pinch Sea Salt (optional)
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    1 Tbsp Instant Coffee (optional)
1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips/Carob Chips (optional)

Tips

Adding the salt, instant coffee and vanilla really helps to enrich the chocolate flavour, but this can be changed to your liking. Don't be afraid to experiment! I like to add peanut butter, caramel or other items in the middle of the brownies for different blends!

Directions

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease bottom of pan, I prefer to oil and sugar the bottom of 8" or 9" square dish.

In blender, combine Black Beans, Eggs, Oil and blend until smooth. Add Cocoa Powder, Sugar, Baking Powder, Salt, Vanilla and Instant Coffee, blend until mixed.

Pour batter into greased pan, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, bake in centre of oven until sides pull away and top appears dry. This usually take 25-30 minutes for one batch. Allow to cool and cut into 16 pieces.
