My Girlfriend's Recipe, made a bit healthier by using lowfat dairy products

This recipe originated from my sister who got it from her mother-in-law and has been perfected over the course of 40 years. The only adjustment that I have made is the use of melting chocolates because they are easy to use and more predictable (She uses chocolate chips and parafin)
Use only Jif peanut butter and stick margarine (butter will not work in this recipe) and be sure to melt the margarine for perfect buckeyes every time.

This is a healthy recipe that tastes sweet and delicious. We enjoy it at big family gatherings and special occasions. It can serve as a side or dessert.
Heat oven to 375. Mix sugars, butter and egg. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt (dough will be stiff). Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Drop dough by table spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 12-15 minutes or until edges are set. Cool completely; remove from cookie sheet.
