Ingredients

1.5 qts of homemade chicken stock
1 medium onion, chopped
9 cups of broccoli, chopped
3-4 cups leftover chicken meat from roasting chicken, chopped
1 tbsp coconut oil
kale, trimmed of stems
2 cans coconut milk
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbs basil
1 tbs garlic powder
4 slices thick cut bacon, cooked crispy to crumble on top
Directions
Chop broccoli into florets and steam until soft. While that is steaming, sautee chopped onion in coconut oil until golden.
Puree broccoli in food processor and add to chicken stock, coconut milk, kale, onion, and spices. Bring to a simmer. Add chicken pieces, simmer for 30 minutes to incorporate flavors.
Crumble bacon on top before serving
