Ingredients

1 pound bulk hot or mild lean italian pork sausage
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 minced cloves of garlic
1/2 teas. italian seasoning, crushed
4 cups coarsely chopped kake leaves (or swiss chard)
1 Roma tomato, chopped
Tips
The original recipe also called for Parmesan Chips which I think would increase the sodium level. So I didn't include them with this recipe.
Directions
In a Dutch oven cook sausage, onion and garlic until sausage is brown; drain off fat. Stir in broth and Italian seasoning. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Stir in kale; cook until just wilted. Stir in tomato, cook for 1 minute more.
