Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 Cans White beans rinsed(appx 3.5 servings/can)
    1 TBs tomato paste
    2 tsp vegetable boullion (or 2 C broth)
    4 C water
    1.5 C Diced ham (1/4 inch cubes)
    1 ham bone (if available)
    1/2 C raw carrots cubed/coarse chop
    1 tsp each Garlic/onion powder (or fresh) to taste
    1 tsp salt (optional)
    1/2 tsp (appx) celery seed. (I don't like fresh celery in my soups.

Directions

Mash one can of beans before adding to 6 quart crockpot. Add all the other ingredients and give a good stir. Cook until carrots are tender. approx 3.5 hours on high. remove bone. Check seasonings and thickness and adjust accordingly.

Serving Size: makes appx 6 2cup servings
