Ingredients

    Beef, tip round, 1.33 lb (cubed, remove fat)
    White Rice, long grain, 2 cup
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 0.25 cup, chopped
    Yellow Peppers (bell peppers), 5 strips(chopped)
    Peas, canned, 1 can
    Flour, white, .16 cup (2 tablespoons)
    Water, tap, 5 cup (8 fl oz)
    garlic 1 tablespoon
    1 tsp itallian seasoning (no calories or fat or carbs, cant find on here)

Directions

make sure meat is cut into cubes, no fat,brown meat, onions, peppers and garlic for a few minutes (add a tablespoon or 2 of water ) when browned add 4.75 cups of water, simmer on low for a hour with a lid on the pan (until beef is tender) add rice , cover till rice is done(20 minutes or so) then add flour (mix with 1/4 cup of water till smooth) stir till thickened, add can of peas, gently stir in. serves 6 (1.623 cups each), a whole meal in one.

    Very Good
    Very simple and quite good. I made it with long grain brown rice instead of white. My kids put soy sauce on it, and my husband ate it with hot sauce. Either way, everyone was happy! - 4/1/08
