1 cup white rice, uncooked,
2.25 cups water
2 cups salsa
1 can black beans
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Brown beef and onions, drain fat. Add the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook covered for 50 minutes.
