Ingredients

    2 cans of chick peas
    5 cloves of garlic
    1tbsp olive oil
    .25 cup tahini
    .5 lemon juice squeezed
    salt, pepper and cayenne pepper to taste

Tips

To keep sodium down wash chickpeas first or use fresh and cook. To get diverse flavors try adding different spices.


Directions

Put garlic in the food processor. When it is minced add chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice and olive oil and blend. Add some water or juice from the can to get desired consistency (not more than .25 cup, add a bit at the time). Add salt, pepper and cayenne pepper to taste - or skip to keep it bland.
