Ingredients


    Ingredients:
    1 lb Ground Pork Sausage, Lean cooked, drained, 16 oz
    3 cups Brown rice - 1 (cook in 3 cups chicken broth/3 cups water)
    1 cup Wild Rice - cook in ( 1 cup water/1cup chicken broth)
    1 bag frozen - Yellow Sweet Corn
    1 can - Black Beans, black
    1 can Beans, red kidney)
    Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices
    Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Almonds, 1 cup, slivered
    Poultry seasoning, 1 tbsp
    Cilantro, raw, 4 tbsp
    Garlic, 3 clove
    Jalapeno Peppers, 1 pepper
    5 cups of low sodium chicken broth

Tips

i froze leftovers, about 3 foil pans worth,

I also added some leftovers to my turkey soup made the next day.


Directions

cook rices according to directions using half water half broth

cook sausage in sauce pan drain and add to ex large mixing bowl

in a tablespoon or so of broth, saute veges til softened, add to mixing bowl

add rice and seasonings to mixing bowl

drain and rinse beans, add to mixing bowl

toss and season to taste

Keep warm in crockpot or oven
