Introduction

Ingredients

    2 tablespoons tamarind paste (no seeds, very thick)
    4 tablespoon sugar
    1/2 lime
    1 teaspoon dried chili flakes
    3 cloves minced garlic or 2 tsp garlic powder
    4 teaspoons fish sauce
    1 tablespoon peanut butter

Tips

Soak noodles, and fry veggies, add sauce, noodles and cook briefly. Garnish, with lime, cilantro, peanuts and/or sugar.


Directions

Combine all and use a food processor to blend. Add to noodles, egg, meat and/or veggies and enjoy.

    Incredible!
    I have just added Thai food to my palette and found this recipe for Pad Thai sauce. I replaced the sugar for maple sugar because it adds the sweetness but doesn't raise my blood sugar. Otherwise I made it exactly as specified and it is DELICIOUS. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. - 2/15/16
