Introduction

These waffles are a great "basic" recipe that you can add just about anything to make them a little more fun and a GREAT source of fiber! These waffles are a great "basic" recipe that you can add just about anything to make them a little more fun and a GREAT source of fiber!

Ingredients

    2 cups Whole Wheat Insta-Bake Mix
    2 ea Eggs
    1 1/3 cups Milk
    1/4 cup vegetable oil

Tips

Switch the oil out with applesauce for less cholesterol, I also like to add nuts and bananas.
I like to cook up extra and freeze for quick and filling breakfast on the go. Just pop 1 in the toaster, put a little whole fruit spread on top and you've got a whole grain "pop-tart" :)


Directions

Preheat Iron
Mix all ingredients together in bowl and allow to "settle" for a couple of minutes.
Spray with Non-Stick spray
Pour 1/3 cup batter in iron - (approximate, based on sz of waffle iron)
Cook 4-8 minutes or until golden brown
