Ingredients

1 Cup of Canned Chickpeas, drained
5 Cloves of Garlic
1 Tbsp of Tahini
1 Lemon, squeezed juice
1/2 Egyptian Baladi Pita Bread
OR 1 Regular Whole Wheat Pita (western)
Mint Leaves, for Garnish.
Cucumber and Carrot Sticks optional.
Add a bit of unsweetened Almond milk if you want it less thick.
Directions
Roast the garlic on high temperature in the oven until browned (about 5 minutes).
Pop in pita bread in oven while you make the hummus, so it's nice and warm/toasted :).
Add the chickpeas, Lemon Juice, Garlic and Tahini in a food processor. Puree until smooth. Add a couple of mint leaves to garnish.
Take the bread out of the oven, and enjoy!
