Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground beef
    1 tsp chili powder
    1 tsp cumin
    1/2 tsp pink Himalayan salt
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1 onion, thinly sliced
2 bell peppers (your choice of colors), thinly sliced
    4 T salsa

Tips

1. This can be grilled instead of broiled.
2. One Tablespoon of taco seasoning can be utilized instead of the spices, just make sure there is no sugar or wheat in it.
3. You can use frozen peppers/onions blend to save time on the slicing.

Directions

1. Preheat oven to broil. Coat a nonstick broiling pan with cooking spray.

2. Mix ground beef with chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Divide into four patties and broil until no pink remains, or to desired doneness.

3. Meanwhile, in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat, saute onion and bell peppers until tender, stirring occasionally.
