Introduction

Ingredients

    2 tbsp Coconut Oil
    3.5 Chuck Roast

    1 cup Water
    1/2 tbsp Onion Powder
    1/2 tbsp Garlic Powder
    1 tsp Sea Salt

Directions

Heat oven to 350F.

Melt coconut oil in cast iron dutch oven, on stovetop. Sear top, botton and sides of roast, on high heat. Add water, onion powder, garlic powder and sea salt to dutch oven.

Transfer dutch oven to oven, and roast meat at 350F for 45 minutes.

After 45 minutes, lower oven temperature to 200F, and slow-roast for 3 - 3.5 hours.

Remove from oven, transfer meat to cutting board or plate and let sit for 15 minutes before cutting.
