Introduction

A light granola with no added fat. We keep it on hand to add to yogurt. A light granola with no added fat. We keep it on hand to add to yogurt.

Ingredients

    3 cup Silver Palate Think and Rough Oatmeal (1/3 cup dry) (by STARS07)
    1 cup, chopped Walnuts
    1 cup Dried Cherries
    1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
    .5 tsp Salt
    1 tbsp Cinnamon, ground
    .33 cup, packed Brown Sugar
    1 cup Maple Syrup
    4 tbsp *Flax Seed

Directions

Mix dry ingredients ,except dried fruit,in a large bowl. Stir vanilla into maple syrup pour over all mix well. Pour unto 10x15 jelly roll pan that has been prepared with either vegetable spray or lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated 325 degree for 20 minutes remove from oven add dried fruit stir and bake for another 20 minutes. Cool completely on tray. Store in airtight jars or containers.
