Ingredients

    .75 cup cornmeal
    1.5 cup milk
    1 egg
    1 lb ground beef
    1 chili seasoning packet (1.25 oz)
    1 can (16 ounces) diced tomatoes
    1 can (16 ounces) corn
    1 cup shredded or grated cheddar cheese

Tips

If you don't like the taste of canned corn, consider using frozen instead.


Directions

Drain the corn.

Beat the egg.

Brown and drain the ground beef.

Combine cornmeal, milk and egg.

Stir in meat, seasoning, tomatoes and corn until well blended.

Pour into slow cooker.

Cover.

Cook on high 1 hour, then turn slow cooker down to low and cook 3 more hours.

Sprinkle with cheese.

Serve when cheese has melted.
