Introduction

A family favorite lightened up a bit. A family favorite lightened up a bit.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    2 slices of diet wheat bread per person
    1 slice of cheese per slice of bread
    sliced tomato
    3 half strips of bacon on each samdwich
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Place bread on broiler tray.

Put 1 slice of cheese on each slice of bread.

Top with slices of tomato and season with salt and pepper.

Cut slices of bacon in half and layer 3 half strip over the top of each sandwich.

Put under broiler and watch carefully. After about 3 to 5 minutes turn the bacon over and return to broiler for another minute or 2.

2 open faced sandwiches makes a serving.
