Introduction

This recipe was great for me as a kid because I was raised as a vegetarian, so mum made it for me when I was sick as an alternative for chicken noodle soup. Its great because it gets vegetables into kids and is really good when its hot. Ingredients

    2 medium sized potatoes, diced
    1 or 2 carrots, chopped
Pasta (alphabet noodles are good), about 1-2 cups
Beans (1 can of baked beans, or 1 cup pinto)
    3 tablespoons Heinz ketchup
Enough water to cover the top of the ingredients (about 3 cups)

Directions

This serves about 4-5 people.
First dice the vegetables you want to add and put them in a large pot. Then add the water and start to heat on medium. Make sure you have a lid to put on to keep in the moisture. Add the ketchup and beans and bring to a slow boil. Put in the pasta and continue at a slow boil, or a simmer. When the pasta and the potatoes are cooked, it is ready to serve. Enjoy!
