Introduction

These are easy to make and don't even use butter, as many scones do. These are easy to make and don't even use butter, as many scones do.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2c. Flour
    2 T. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. canola oil
    2/3 c. milk

Directions

Stir dry ingredients together. Mix oil and milk and stir into dry ingredients. Form dough into a flat circle and cut into wedges. (The nutrition info is figured on 12 wedges.) Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, if desired. (Adds more calories, not figured in.) Place on cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes at 400*F.

    WE HAD THESE AT MY GRANDSON'S TODAY, VERY GOOD. I WAS SURPRISED TO FIND THE RECIPE ON SPARK,LOL. - 11/12/09

    Very good. I added cinnamon and cloves to this to make it my own but great and easy to make. - 3/27/09
