Introduction

Ingredients

    4 1/2 cups sugar
    pinch of salt
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 can of evaporated milk
    2 cups (12 oz) chocolate chips, 3 pkgs (4 oz each) sweet cooking chocolate
    1 jar marshmallow cream
    Up to 2 cups Nuts if desired (not included in nutritional info)

Directions

Makes 150 approx 1 inch pieces. Serving size is one piece

Combine sugar, pinch of salt, butter and evaporated milk in a 6 qt pan. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil for 6 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and add chocolate chops, cooking chocolate, and marshmallow cream. Stir until chocolate is dissolved. Add nuts, if desired. Stir til creamy. Pour into greased 11 x 17 in cookie sheet. Cool. Cut. Store in tightly covered metal box.
(I put one pecan half on top of half the fudge for those who like nuts)

    I have been eating and making this fudge all my life, it is the only one I like. If you find that German chocolate is to pricy for you just use all chocolate chips. We use walnuts in ours but pecans sound good too. - 12/21/14
