Introduction
This came as an idea to limit the bread in my meal. My 12 year old lapped it up and she does not normally eat more than a mouthful of meat unless it's chicken. The Woolworths pork meatballs are very juicy, tasty with plenty of garlic and herbs. The beef ones seem to dry out more so I only buy the pork. This came as an idea to limit the bread in my meal. Ingredients
-
1 pkt Woolworths Pork Meatballs (12 balls - 500g)
1 cup shredded carrot
4 Tbsp Kecap Manis (Sweet Soy Sauce)
Wash 12 large lettuce leaves
Directions
Throw the meatballs on the barbeque and heat gently until cooked. Do not cook on high heat. They will burn and dry out. Turn often to avoid burning.
Take large lettuce leaf and add grated carrot, and meatball. Drizzle with small amount of Kecap Manis (it's very strong), Roll up and enjoy.
12 meatballs serves 4.
Serve with extra salads (not included) and whatever takes your fancy.
