I add this to my scrambled egg whites or egg beaters to make breakfast satisfying without any guilt.

You can make a double batch and freeze some to thaw later in either the microwave or refrigerator.

Ingredients

    2 cups Chicken Stock
    2 cups Textured Vegetable Protein
    2 tsp Salt
    1.5 tsp Fresh Ground Black Pepperr
    1/4 tsp Ground Sage
    1/4 tsp Ground Thyme
    1/8 tsp Ground Rosemary
    1/8 tsp Ground Ginger
    1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
    2 TBL Maple Syrup
    1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
    1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
    1/4 Paprika

Directions

Add all herbs and spices to chicken stock in a 1.5 Qt Sauce Pan.
Bring this mixture to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Add textured vegetable protein to chicken stock mixture.
Stir and let stand 5 to 10 Minutes.

Makes 12 1/4-cup servings.
