Ingredients
-
*Rice, Kraft Minute Whole Grain Brown Rice, 1 cup (uncooked)
Shrimp, raw, 8 oz (shelled and deveined)
Broccoli, frozen, 1 package (10 oz)-Microwaveable steam
Garlic powder, 1 tsp
Garlic, minced, 1 tsp
I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, Original Buttery Spray, 5 sprays, 2 serving
old bay (used about 1 tsp)
seafood seasoning or any other kind of seasoning you would like (use about 1 tsp)
*Extra Light Olive Oil, 1 tbsp (any brand)
Directions
1. I make the rice first, according to the box.
2. Then I add olive oil to a skillet with minced garlic. Cook until garlic slightly brown and then add shrimp. I then add the 10 sprays of butter, garlic powder, old bay, and seafood seasoning. Stirring around a few times so that shrimp is completely cooked through....about 5 or 6 minutes.
3. While cooking shrimp, I put my broccoli in the microwave for about 5-7 min (however long bag says to do so)
4. Once shrimp are done cooking, remove from heat. Add brown rice, broccoli and mix together with the shrimp & sauce in the warm skillet.
5. Divide into 2 and enjoy. These are pretty big portions but the calories aren't that high and it's really filling and good!
