Ingredients

    1 27 ounce can snowfloss sour kraut
    1 16 ounce pkg. smoked sausage ( I use Kroger brand)
    1 small onion sliced thin.
    1 tablespoon brown sugar
    pepper to taste.

Directions

combine everything except sausage in crock pot.
stir together. cut sausage into 3 inch peices. add to crock pot. (tip- do not drain sour kraut) cook on high 2 hours or on low 3-4 hours.
serve with mashed potatoes or eat on a bun. for low carb eat by itself.

    Tracy, I'm sorry but with a tablespoon of brown sugar there is just no way that this is low carb! - 3/24/09
