Ingredients

    1 box (9 oz.) Barilla Lasagne (uncooked)
    2 Eggs
    1 container (30 oz.) Low-Fat Ricotta Cheese
    4 cups (16 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese
    1/2 cup (2 oz.) grated parmesan cheese
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 can (29 oz.) Tomato Sauce
    1 can (14.5 oz.) Diced Tomatoes
    1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Spray baking pan (about 13" x 9") with cooking spray.

In a large sauce pan: brown ground beef (add salt, pepper, minced onion, fresh onion, basil, or whatever you like to flavor with) then drain excess grease.

Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste to browned ground beef... simmer until heated through. Remove from heat.

In a mixing bowl: mix ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese and eggs.

TO LAYER LASAGNE:

Spread 1 cup of sauce/beef mixture on bottom of baking pan.

Layer 4 or 5 uncooked lasagne noodles on top of sauce (overlap slightly).

Spread 1/2 of the rocotta cheese mixture on top of lasagne noodles.

Spread 1/3 of the remaining sauce/beef mixture on top of the ricotta cheese mixture.

Spread 1/3 of the remaining mozzarella cheese on top of sauce.

Layer 4 or 5 additional uncooked lasagne noodles, then repeat the spreading of the ricotta, sauce and mozzarella.

Layer 4 or 5 additional uncooked lasagne noodles, then the remaining sauce mixture and mozzarella cheese.

Bake, covered with foil until bubbly (around 50-60 minutes).

Uncover and bake an additional 5 minutes (until all cheese is melted).

Let stand at least 15 minutes before cutting.
