Ingredients

    1 slice turkey bacon
    1 Tbsp olive oil
    1 tablespoon onion powder or fresh onion
    1 tablespoons chopped garlic
    Dried herbs (blend of dried and ground oregano, thyme, rosemary, black pepper, and basil)
    1 tablespoons season salt
    Sprinkle of red pepper flakes, to taste
    1/2 dried bay leaf
    3 lb bag frozen greens
    2 cups chicken stock or broth
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Directions

Cook bacon in olive oil. Add onion, garlic, red pepper flakes until transluscent. Next add turnip greens, desired herbs, salt, broth or stock, and apple cider vinegar. Cook approximately 20 minutes or until done. Add honey, stir and serve. Makes 12 servings
