Introduction

This is NOT my own recipe, just one I found online, and decided to use. I am sharing this recipe so others can try it, but I haven't actually finished making it. As I type the dough is rising. If you need a suggestion for topping, I use low fat mozzarella, shredded, low fat ragu sauce, baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, halved, and red onion. I also take fresh mozzarella (found in a lump, or a small ball) and cut thick slices and toss on top for an added "treat" for the kids. Happy baking! Ingredients

    1 pkt yeast
    4 T warm water
    2 tsp (packed) brown sugar

    12 T warm water
2 T oil (I used olive, but I'm sure the recipe meant vegetable, and this calculation is for extra virgin olive oil)
1 tsp salt (I use light salt)
1 cup whole wheat flour, stirred
    2 eggs
    3 cups whole-wheat flour

Directions

This recipe should make 2 large pizza crusts, or 16 large servings. For kids, that would be 32 servings. Prep time includes time for the dough to rise.

Soak yeast in 2 T warm water, add brown sugar. Let sit (5-10 minutes) while preparing the following: 12 T warm water 1 cup stirred flour, 1 tsp salt. Add eggs and yeast mixture. Stir to form soft dough. Let rise in a warm(ish) area for about 1 hour, then knead gently for a couple of minutes. divide and spread on pizza pans.

the instructions I found are for baking with cheese and toppings, and they are: Bake pizzas at 450 for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 375 and bake until "crusty"
