Ingredients

    1 cup long-grain brown rice
    4 slices turkey bacon
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 cup dry white whine (chardonnay)
    3/4 cup heavy cream (make by Ingredients:
    • 3/4 cup milk
    • 1/3 cup butter
    Preparation:
    1. Melt the butter.
    2. Pour it into the milk, and stir.
    3. Use in place of one cup of heavy cream.
    Note: This substitute while not whip.
    Tip: If you use low-fat milk, add a tablespoon of flour to the mixture to thicken. TAKES 2 MINS)
    1 1/4 pounds large shrimp, peeled & deveined
    1 10 ounce package frozen corn

meanwhiele, cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crisp, 5-7 mins. Transfer to paper towel then break into pieces. wipe out the skillet

Heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook until softened, 4-6 mins. Add wine & cook until reduced by half, 2-3 mins.

Add cream and bring to a boil. Stir in the shrim, corn and 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper. simmer until cook throug, 4-6 mins. Stir in the bacon; serve over rice.
