Introduction

Ingredients

5 cups uncooked egg noodles
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 lb ground turkey
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 cans (8oz) tomato sauce
i jar spaghetti sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 pkg (8 oz) reduced-rat cream cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese (or cottage cheese)
1 cup reduced fat sour cream
3 green onions, thinly sliced, divided
2/3 cup shredded low fat cheddar cheese (or more to your liking)
Directions
Cook noodles according to directions. Drain well. Meanwhile, cook the ground meats and garlic over med heat until meat is no longer pink; drain well. Stir in the tomato sauce, spices and half jar of spaghetti sauce. Heat through. Stir drained noodles into beef mixture.
In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese with the ricotta and sour cream until blended. Stir in 1/2 the onions.
Spoon half the noodle mixture into a 13 x 9 dish coated with cooking spray. Top with cheese mixture and layer noodles on top. Add about 1/4th jar of spaghetti sauce.
Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with shredded cheese, and add more of the jarred spaghetti sauce, if needed. Return to over and bake 5 - 10 min. longer or until heated through and cheese is melted. Sprinkle with remaining onions.
Serve with crusty bread and salad if you wish!
