Introduction
This could be made "lighter" with ground turkey and fat-free cheese(s). I used fresh herbs from my garden, but dried can replace the fresh herbs. These make hearty servings and are great served with a salad - very filling! Yes, the fat is "high", but it comes from the cheese and meat and for a dinner, this is NOT bad - and loads you up on PROTEIN!I like to make ahead of time, stick in freezer or fridge and can be cooked later.
