Ingredients


    Beef, round steak, 1 lb
    Broccoli, fresh, 2 stalk
    Onions, raw, 1 large
    Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, unbleached, .06 cup
    White Rice, long grain, 3 cup
    Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz)
    Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, 3 tbsp
    Dynasty Bead Molasses, 1 tbsp

Directions

Rinse round steak and pat dry (this is an important step), set aside. Slice onion into 6 to 8 wedges, set aside. Remove flowers from broccoli, discard stalks and set aside.

Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in wok or large frying pan. Brown steak then remove and set aside.

Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil to the same pan, add broccoli stir occasionally until tender. Add cooked steak and raw onion.

In a small bowl, combine 2 tbsp of flour , 1 cup of tepid water, 1 tbsp of bead molasses, stir until flour is dissolved. Add mixture to pan. Continue to stir until liquid thickens.

Serve over cooked white rice.
