Introduction

This is a creamy dressing or dip that is dairy free, gluten free,vegan, and raw. This is a creamy dressing or dip that is dairy free, gluten free,vegan, and raw.

Ingredients

    1.5 cups nuts (cashew, macadamia, or combo)
    soak them for a creamier dressing (1-2 hr is fine, then drain)
    1-1.5 cups water depending if you want a dip or a dressing
    3 T lemon juice (juice from half a lemon)
    1/3 cup cider vindegar
    1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil (could substitute other oils)
    2 cloves garlic
    1 t garlic powder
    3 t onion powder
    1 t dill, dried
    1 t sea salt
    1/2 t basil, dried
    add to after it's done:
    1/4 cup finely minced parsley
    another 1/2 t dill


Directions

Vitamix blend all ingredients till creamy and smooth except the last 2, then once blended, stir in the last 2 ingredients. This is for looks only and if you like, just throw it all in together, I do. Thickens in fridge some, so if you want it to be a dressing add more water while it's still in the blender.

Makes 3 cups total. Serving Size 2 TB. 24 servings.
