Introduction

Ingredients

    Flank Steak, 10 oz (5oz each person)
    Balsamic Vinegar, 3 tbsp
    Garlic, 1 clove (minced)

    Ronzoni Smart Taste Penne Rigate, 2 serving
    3/4 cup Healthy Choice Garlic&Herb Pasta Sauce
    1 1/2 oz Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk or low fat (you can sub less parmesan or other mixed shredded low fat cheese)

    Broccoli, fresh, 2 cup, chopped

Directions

(Note: Prep time includes marinating time)

In a container, marinate the flank steak in the balsamic vinegar and minced garlic, add any Herbs that you prefer, I use an italian blend found in the grocery store. Marinate for about 30 minutes.

Cook pasta according to the directions, and mix with sauce while still warm. Steam Broccoli in the microwave or on the stove. (You can sub any non-starchy veg)

Remove Flank Steak from the marinade, and place on well heated grill pan, or on grill outside. About 5 minutes on one side, flip and cook 2-3 minutes on the other side. (depending on the thickness and done-ness preference). Let meat rest for about 5-7 minutes before slicing against the grain of the meat.

Serve with pasta and broccoli along side.
