1lb ground italian sausage (use hot or mild dependint on desired heat)
1 lb ground beef
1 lg green pepper
2 jalepeno peppers
1 large onion
1 can tomato sauce
2 cups dried rice
2 cans beef stock
chili powder
dried hot red pepper
1lb dried navy beans
2 cans kidney beans
Directions
Prepare dried beans (follow directions on bag)
brown sausage and hamburger
chop peppers and onions
cook rice
combine ingredients in crock pot
season to taste - i like to be mild on chili sauce to ensure jalepeno flavor comes out
cook on low all day, or on high around 5 hours or until beans are tender
