Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    12 oz Silken, lite firm tofu
    1 tbsp Wheat Germ
    2 Egg Whites
    2 tsp Splenda No Calorie Sweetener
    1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
    6 scoops NSI Whey ISO Protein powder
    1/4 cup wheat bran

Directions

Combine Tofu,egg whites, Applesauce, Wheat Germ, wheat bran and cocoa into a mixing bowl.

Then Stir in Protein Powder

Spray 8x8 pan with non stick spray

Preheat oven to 350

Pour mixture into pan / Bake until golden brown/ should not become hard- tofu will harden upon cooling

Top with splenda (some cocoa powder will add some great taste) Let cool then cut up and wrap with aluminum foil and store in freezer

    there isn't any cocoa listed in the ingredient list but it is in the first instruction. Also It would be good to have an idea how long to bake these as I had to guess as to when they were done. I had used chocloate whey protein and couldn't really tell when they were golden brown. - 11/3/09

    Thanks for your comment...the cocoa is optional and honestly it takes a while to figure out cooking with tofu.. it depends on the consistency you expect. If you want a harder consistency cook longer. A softer more fragile consistency cook for 15 min
