Ingredients
-
4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
16oz. jar of salsa (I used Pace Chunky Salsa)
Directions
*** Since this is a crockpot recipe, the cooking time is in hours, not minutes. ***
Place chicken breast in crockpot, season if so desired (I seasoned with sea salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Adobo).
Pour salsa on top of chicken breast.
Cover, and cook on low for 6-8 hours in the crockpot, or until chicken breast easily tears apart with a fork.
After cooking, shred the chicken with a fork and serve with flour tortillas, shredded cheese, sour cream, and other taco fixings.
Makes approximately eight one-cup servings. Enjoy!!
*** The shredded cheese and sour cream are not included in this recipe as you can decide what you want to serve the chicken with. ***
