Introduction

This dish is perfect if you have leftover ham from the holidays. I love to dip onion, multi-grain or Italian bread in this soup--its so good and filling! Ingredients

    1/2 small head of cabbage
    1/2 large onion, diced
    12oz ham (97% fat free)
5 medium red skinned potatoes, diced
    salt and pepper
    1-2 chicken bouillon cubes (optional)

Directions

Cut cabbage, onions, ham, and potatoes into bite sized pieces. Put all in one large pot. Cover with water an inch or two above the ingredients. Add bouillon cubes and a pinch of salt and pepper. Bring to boil and let boil for 20-25 mins, or until potatoes are done. You can even turn down on low until you're ready to eat--this will just make the flavors better. Serve and enjoy!
