    Milk, 2%, 1 cup (remove)
    Butter, salted, .5 cup (remove)
    Egg, fresh, 1 large (remove)
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp (remove)
    Yeast, bakers, 3 ounce (remove)
    Salt, .5 tsp (remove)
    Cardamom, ground, 2 tsp (remove)
    Granulated Sugar, .5 cup (remove)
    *Wheat flour, white, bread, enriched, 4 cup (remove)
    Raisins, .33 cup, packed (remove)
    Candied Fruit, 8 oz (remove


scald milk over med heat. add butter and stir til melted. Remove from heat and cool. pour into bread machine. Add egg, vanilla, salt, flour, cardamom,sugar, yeast. Start breadmaker. Add fruit after 1st rise. You can remove and form into round loaves to bake or let machine bake. If forming loaves, bake 375 for approx 30 min, reduce heat to 300, brush top with eggwhite and bake for adtl 15 min. Done when inserted toothpick comes out clean. Cool and wrap in plastic or foil to retain moisture. God jule!
