Introduction

This is my favorite homemade Chicken soup recipe. My family likes when I throw some Homestyle noodles in. Or I leave them out and add 2 chopped potatoes instead for lower calories. Ingredients

    4 Chicken Breasts
    5 Carrots, sliced
    1 Celery stalk, chopped
    1 Onion, chopped
    2 quarts water
    4 tsp. Chicken bouillon
    1 can Cream of Chicken Soup (98% fat free)
    1 tsp. Basil
    Pepper to taste
    1 c. Peas, frozen

Directions

Boil chicken in water for 20 minutes or until cooked through. Remove from water and cut into small pieces. Boil veggies and water together for 15 to 20 minutes. Add cut up chicken to veggies and water. Add cream of chicken soup, basil, and pepper and bring to a boil again before adding peas. Cook an additional 5 minutes.
Makes 8 1-cup servings
