Ingredients

1 Pound Ground Turkey (Extra Lean)
1 Teaspoon Olive Oil
1 Large Onion chopped
1 Green Pepper chopped
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground red pepper
2 1/4 cups water
5 Pitted Prunes minced
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, undrained
Directions
Cook turkey in a french/dutch oven over medium high heat until there is no more pink. Stir and break into small pieces. Drain meat and remove from pan.
Heat oil in pan over medium heat. Add onion and green pepper. Saute for about 5 minutes or until the onions are slightly translucent. Add minced garlic and saute for an additional 2 minutes. Add all spices and continue sauting for 2 more minutes. Add meat, water and undrained black beans bring to a boil and lower temp to low. Simmer for 1 to 2 hours.
