Ingredients

    Chicken Breast, no skin, 4 breast, bone and skin removed
    Garlic, 4 cloves
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Beans, great northern, 2 cup (2 cans)
    *Green Chili Peppers, canned, .5 cup (2 4 oz cans)
    *Cumin seed (ground cumin) 1 tbsp
    Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp
    Black Pepper tsp
    Salt 1-2 tsp
    Chicken Broth, 2 cup (8 fl oz)
    Sour Cream, reduced fat, 1 cup
    Half and Half Cream, .5 cup

Directions

Boil chicken and cut into small pieces, or used already prepared chicken (can use whole rotisserie with no skin or bones, or boneless skinless parts of whole chicken, or 4 boneless skinless breasts. Drain beans from canned juice.
In a large Dutch oven or pot, Saute garlic and onions in non-stick spray or 1 tbsp canola oil (not in calorie counter), uintil softened, about 6 minutes. Combine all ingredients, including chicken, except sour cream and whipping cream.
Cook on low about 45 min.
Before serving, Add sour cream and half-and-half and cook until warm through.
Serve with Jack or Mozzarella cheese and tortilla chips. (not in calorie counter)

*can add additional herbs if more flavor- more oregano, cumin, thyme, garlic powder, or red pepper
*can prepare ahead of time, excluding sour cream and half-and-half, refrigerate, then add dairy ingredients when warming through to serve
*freezes well
