Introduction

THIS IS A 1/2 RECIPE OF THE BREAKFAST CASSAROLE THAT I MADE A LIGHTER VERSION OF. I HAD TO CHANGE A FEW INGREDIENTS BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE ALL OF THEM AND IT LIGHTENED THE RECIPES. IF YOU USE THE REDUCED FAT CHEDDAR CHEESE IT'S EVEN LIGHTER BUT I DIDN'T HAVE THAT. THIS IS A 1/2 RECIPE OF THE BREAKFAST CASSAROLE THAT I MADE A LIGHTER VERSION OF. Ingredients

    6 JIMMY DEAN PRECOOKED TURKEY SAUSAGES
    3 SLICES PRIVATE SELECT SUGAR FREE 100% WHOLE WHEAT BREAD
    6 EGG WHITES
    2 TSP MUSTARD
    1 CUP FAT FREE MILK
    1/2 CUP CABOT NATURAL 50% REDUCED FAT CHEDDAR CHEESE
    1 TSP GROUND SAGE OR POULTRY SEASONING
    NON-STICK COOKING SPRAY

Directions

CUT THE BREAD INTO CUBES.
CRUMBLE COOKED SAUSAGE OR DICE AND ADD WITH BREAD TO A GREASED 9X9 GLASS CASSAROLE SPRAYED WITH NON STICK COOKING SPRAY.
SPRINKLE WITH POULTRY SEASONING TOP WITH CHEESE AND SET ASIDE.

COMBINE MILK, EGGS, MUSTARD AND MRS DASH AND PEPPER TO TASTE AND POUR OVER THE BREAD MIXTURE.
TOP WITH FOIL AND REFRIGERATE FOR 8 HOURS.

PREHEAT OVEN TO 350* AND BAKE, COVERED FOR 45 MINUTES. REMOVE FOIL AND REDUCE TEMP TO 325 AND BAKE FOR 20 MINUTES LONGER OR UNTIL SET.
