Ingredients
-
1 1/2 Cups Flour
1/2 Cup Ground Golden Flax Seed
1 TBSP baking powder
1 TBSP sugar
1 tsp salt
1 stick Earth Balance Natural Shortening (7 TBSP per stick)
3/4 Cup of Milk (1%)

Preheat oven to 450 degrees
Mix Dry Ingredients. Cut in the shortening using a pastry blender until the crumbs are pea sized. (You can also use a fork.) Add the milk and mix thoroughly with fork.
Turn over dough onto lightly floured surface and knead by hand about 10 times. Add more flour as needed to keep the dough from sticking. Don't over flour, texture will be tacky.
