As seen on Oprah....will see if it holds true....and makes me feel 10 years older. After working 100 hours of week (for low pay) after graduating from college....I'll try anything to give myself life again.
Special nutritional shake to give a variety of proteins: soy, whey + egg white. Drink a whole portion within 30 min after a good workout, maybe drink half a portion abt 30-60 min before strenuous activity (heavy yardwork), sports or working out. I'm also drinking a slightly modified version right before bed, after a final 30-40 min night workout (strength/cardio mixture: kettlebells).
This is also a great RAW recipe! Breakfast protein shake based on Jackie Warner's recipe shared on BRAVO TV reality series "Workout". Based on whey (from cow's milk), this recipe is *not* vegan, but we find it very healthy & enjoy it. So far we haven't found any other protein with the same great taste & consistency. Look for whey protein that's *low carb* & *low glycemic*. Jackie's original recipe was for a full scoop (about 21 grams or about 5 teasps) of green powder - but the stuff tastes sooo strong, we reduced to 1 teaspoon, or just leave out (esp. if sharing with kids). Warning: We do not recommend more than 2 or 3 pieces of frozen berries like blackberries, raspberries, etc, or you'll have a mouthful of seeds. Enjoy!

More protein than a typical fruit smoothie because of the almond milk and the almond butter. Very tasty!
The cayenne pepper gives this a great spiciness which is offset by the cherries and the chocolate protein powder.
These muffins are great for breakfast on the go! Triple the batch and they stay in the fridge for 2 weeks. Just make a few at a time.

I find making 1 dish and eating a single serving daily is the easiest way for me to get protein in the morning. This is one of my favorite breakfast dishes.
