Makes 6-8 muffins. They are dense because of the protein powder but wonderful dipped in coffee or milk. I added the zest of one lemon and it turned out great, nice citrus flavor.

This cake uses whole wheat flour, producing a denser cake than my original chocolate cake. I like to serve this cake plain with my cherry pie filling spooned on top.
